This tour takes you from Djanet to the remote oases of Ihrir through the varied landscapes of the Tassili n'Ajjer. On arrival, you'll discover the Taghen and Aloukou rock art sites before reaching the Tuareg village of Ihrir, nestling in a spectacular canyon. You'll spend the night in a bivouac or a traditional gîte, close to the local people.
This adventure takes you on a journey through the thousand-year-old history of the Sahara, with hikes through wadis lined with oleanders, the engravings of Tin Tagharit and exploration of the great plains of Dider. Each stage is punctuated by nature, Tuareg culture and the desert's archaeological treasures.
