DJANET SEFAR,Saharan immersion in the heart of rock art
Djanet Sefar, Algeria
In the Tassili massif, Sefar is an open-air museum. Its thousands of cave paintings and engravings, over 8,000 years old, bear witness to the first civilisations of the Sahara. A mystical, powerful site, where every stone tells a story. To walk in Sefar is to travel back in time to meet the soul of the desert.
